FROM HLUHLUWE / UMFOLOZI AREA (4 HOURS)

From Empangeni take the R34 (R66) to Melmoth.

Drive through Melmoth on the route R66 to Ulundi.

After +- 4 km take the R68 left to Babanango and Nqutu.

Caution: after +- 20km watch out for R68 turn to the right.

Drive past Babanango for +- 47km on the R68. Look out

for the turn-off on your  left, marked Isandlwana.

Follow gravel road past Isandlwana for 9km,

turn left onto the D30 (big tree on corner) towards Rorke’s Drift.

After 10km turn left at the T-junction to Rorke’s Drift.

Go beyond Rorke’s Drift Museum and turn right

at our sign board. Proceed straight

for 4.8 km along a farm road to the lodge.
